This is our favorite drill for pointing breed puppies! We use this positive pigeon drill for our hunting dog puppies to build cooperation as well as start to develop the whoa behavior through positive reinforcement! On December 2, 2025 I hunted with Bob and his dogs. His oldest, Riley, found this big covey of wild bobwhite bobwhite first thing out of the truck. While looking for a downed bird Riley found a few of the singles from the initial flush and watched in disgust as Bob and I both missed our second chance birds.
