2 Outstanding GSP Brothers Available

DOB: December 7, 2023 & 2025 – Huck & Nitro
Trained, Proven, and Ready for the Field or Home

If you’ve been searching for a well-started, high-quality German Shorthaired Pointer, this is a rare opportunity to bring home not just one—but two exceptional brothers with strong potential for hunting, training, and companionship.

If you’re interested in one of these 2 brothers, Huck or Nitro, Trained or UnTrained, complete the form below and we’ll get back to you!

Full Name
Do you have a fenced yard?
Where will it spend most of its time?

This dog is Eli, he lives with his brother Buddy in North Dakota, those 2 are Hucks’ and Nitros’ same parents/different litter brother! Eli after 2 weeks of Training at a Retriver trainer in Grenada, Kansas! He’s much better now in the Dakota’s with Ian Strong!

These dogs come from a program focused on performance, temperament, and versatility, similar to what breeders like Flying R Kennel aim to produce—dogs that excel both in the field and as family companions.

Meet Huck – 2 Years, 5 Months

Finished Foundation Training – Ready to Hunt

Huck is the more experienced of the two brothers and is already trained and field-ready. At just over two years old, he has reached a stage many buyers look for—past puppy unpredictability and into dependable performance.

the pup's sire, Midnight Turbo's

Highlights:

  • Solid obedience and recall
  • Exposure to live birds and hunting scenarios
  • Confident, driven, and responsive
  • Ideal for hunters who want a “skip-the-puppy-phase” dog

Huck represents what most GSP owners want: drive in the field with control and reliability. He’s the type of dog that can step into a hunting season immediately and continue improving with consistency.

Meet Nitro – Younger Brother, Same Potential

DOB: December 7, 2025

Nitro is the younger brother, offering the same bloodline and natural ability, but with more room for development depending on your goals.

Highlights:

  • Same genetics and structure as Huck
  • Early-stage development with strong instincts
  • Great option for someone wanting to shape their own dog
  • Excellent prospect for hunting, field trials, or an active home

Nitro gives you the chance to build your own finished dog while still starting with a high-quality foundation.

Bloodline & Breeding Focus

These brothers come from a lineage designed for:

  • Upland hunting performance
  • Trainability and intelligence
  • Balanced temperament for both work and home life

Programs like this focus on producing dogs that are not only capable in the field but also adaptable as companions—something increasingly important for modern GSP owners.

Why These Dogs Stand Out

Finding a GSP that is already trained—or comes from a proven pairing—is not easy. These two offer flexibility depending on what you want:

  • Huck: Immediate hunting partner
  • Nitro: Long-term investment and customization

Both dogs reflect a breeding and training philosophy centered on:

  • Early exposure
  • Consistent development
  • Natural hunting ability

Ideal Homes

These dogs will do best in:

  • Active hunting homes
  • Field trial or working environments
  • Families familiar with high-energy sporting breeds
  • Owners committed to continued training and engagement

German Shorthaired Pointers are known for their intelligence, energy, and versatility, making them excellent partners—but they thrive most with purpose and activity.

Final Thoughts

Whether you want a finished, ready-to-go hunting dog or a young prospect to develop, Huck and Nitro represent a rare pairing of quality genetics and real-world ability.

Opportunities like this—especially with brothers from the same line—don’t come around often.

Complete the form below and we’ll contact you back usually within 24 hours during the week!

Dog Training C.P.R. Meet CODA – German Shorthair Pointer

Hello:
This channel is about CODA and his training.
CODA is a Shorthair German Pointer. We got him when he was 9 weeks old. And now he is 4.5 month old puppy. German Shorthair Pointers ( GSP for short) are very versatile hunting dogs, sport dogs, Bird dogs – whatever you call it. They are very clever high energy dogs.
I thought that it would be an interesting project to show how the actual training happens. Most of the videos you see show you how to train a dog that has already learned the trick. We will show how the dog actually learns it.
We will also explain the physiology and psychology of dog training and dog behavior.
Dog Training C.P.R stands for Consistency, Persistency Repetition. These are the major building blocks of any dog training.
The difference of this channel is that we will follow Coda, through his training and show you all challenges that come his way. This way you can see his actual reactions to new commands the very first time he hears it and follow his training progress.
Make sure to Sign up for our channel, we will have lots of useful information that will help you in training your dog to be a good canine citizen.
At this moment On and off Coda was in training for about a month, and in this video I just wanted to introduce Coda and show you some of the things he has learned by now.
We will talk more about training in other videos.
Let’s now see what Coda can do:
Basic commands of course:
Come on recall ,Sit, Down.
Do not touch the food unless on command, (even when I left the room)
Not to go upstairs (my daughter has allergies, so dog is not allowed upstairs
Stay command. Stay with Distraction ( riding Bicycle), Stay with lots of distraction (Teasing the dog with play toy . I actually tried this for the first time, so Coda did really well)
Leave it, Side ( running n the right side of the bike and come when the bike stopped).
And more.
All this was done with about 5-10 minutes of training during walks or in between things.
Very simple! We will tell you all about that.

Please sign up for our channel so you have immediate updates on Coda’s training and his achievements.

In this video, you’ll see me and my 11-year-old Labrador Retriever, Lucy, earn her American Kennel Club Trick Dog Intermediate Title. We worked with Selena Johnson of Phenomenal Canine in Pittsburgh, PA for the training, and in this video, we show off the 10 tricks Lucy performed to earn her Intermediate Trick Dog Title.

If you’re a pet parent who has already done the Novice Trick Dog title and want to see examples of tricks for the next level, or anyone interested in dog tricks, training, or dog sports, this video is for you! Watch and be inspired by what a senior dog can do.

Lucy earned her Novice Trick Dog title in 2020 when she was 8 years old. We’ve been working on her intermediate tricks for a while. We have so much fun training together that we’re going to keep going and try to earn her Advanced Trick Dog Title later this year!
