Quail hunting has changed… #bobwhite #regenerativeagriculture

When did you last see a Bob White Quail?

For Wallace and his parents, it’s been years since they saw any on their property. As an avid bird hunter, Wallace can tell something has changed. These days he has to drive all the way to Texas to go bird hunting – and even then the numbers aren’t like they used to be.

Also selling 1 or 2 of his younger brothers, Elton or Eli, from the ‘e’
litter this year, 3 months old and exact same pedigree!

Kansas Upland Bird Slam – 2023 Kansas Hunting Trip



We had a ball in Kansas chasing all 3 species of upland birds for a week with great friends and family. The dog work was amazing, it just proved our theory that you can take a grouse dog anywhere, but you can’t take a prarie dog and make it a grouse dog ;) I hope you enjoy this one, its a long one so grab a bag of popcorn and enjoy!

This is our favorite drill for pointing breed puppies! We use this positive pigeon drill for our hunting dog puppies to build cooperation as well as start to develop the whoa behavior through positive reinforcement!
