My name is Kru Phil Nurse. I run a Muay Thai-style fighting gym in New York City called The Wat. We have some of the world champion fighters that trained at The Wat. I’m going to try to show you two ways to do counter attacks in a opposite stance today, one of them you are going to be your opponent is going to be in the opposite stance and you’re going to counter attack. And one of them you’re going to switch your guard to an opposite stance so counter attack against your opponent. Both of them you can use you know in various different ways I’m just going to show you two. Okay, so opposite stance Nicholas is in the opposite stance which we would call this like a south pole and I’m in regular stance. So, my guard is up if he goes for a hook I’m going to try and block his hook and grab his fore his bicep with my forearm and my hand on the inside. So, as he goes for the hook I step in here grab to the head and throw the knee into the body he is in the opposite stance he is using his right hook powerful punch or it can be a powerful punch where I’m I cover it block the arm step through come with a knee. The other technique is; we can both with the same stance and with this technique I’m going to switch myself into a South Pole position, to here and now he goes to throw a jab at me. So when he throws his jab he is a bit more of a type of technique when but as he throws his jab I’m going to move myself out to my right side. So as he throws the jab I adjust to the side and come through with a right cross. So a little bit of foot work involved in that as well but we were the same I switch make him throw the move I move to the side as he throws that jab and then I come with my cross.

These exercises prepare your body and mind for the main workout by increasing blood circulation and flexibility.

Next, we dive into the main portion of our workout – a 26-minute circuit training routine consisting of four rounds. The exercises in this circuit are squats, push-ups, bird dogs, fire hydrants, and the Pilates classic, the hundred. Each of these exercises targets different muscle groups, ensuring a comprehensive full-body workout.

We conclude with a calming breathing exercise, helping you cool down and recover after your workout.

Whether you’re new to fitness or an experienced exerciser, this workout can be adjusted to suit your level. Make sure to maintain proper form throughout and modify the exercises if needed.

Introduction.

Nestled in the shadow of the Maluti Mountain range, between the Orange River in the south and the Vaal River in the north, are soft undulating hills covered with lush green grass and small lakes. This is the Eastern Free State, and where you will find Tweespruit. This beautiful little town is about a four hour drive East of Bloemfontein and is the home of Father Claerhout, one of South Africa’s most prolific and respected artists. This is where you will find the home of Four Seasons Wing-shooting Safaris, with plains game hunting and mixed bird shooting for the more adventurous hunter.

Upon arrival, you will be shown the accommodation available from which you’ll be able to select the rooms of your choice. This will either be in the main house or from a range of rooms situated around the lodge compound. Drinks will be provided in the lodge bar and then if you’re not too tired from the travelling we can set off for your first excursion.

That evening, you will be treated to a fresh cooked meal in the home style dining room. After dinner, you may retire to the patio and bar and enjoy a nightcap in front of an open fire. The night sky will be very clear and the stars very sparkling. You’ll wonder why life cannot always be this way and you should feel very pleased with life and relaxed.

South Africa is famous for its all year round rock pigeon and dove shooting. The birds flock in in their thousands to the sunflower and maize fields. Species available to shoot between March & September include: Rock Pigeons, Doves, Egyptian Geese, Spurwing Geese, Duck, Guinea Fowl, Francolin and Partridges.

After a hearty al-fresco breakfast, you will have a choice to shoot Rock Pigeons over sunflowers from a hide using a magnet or, depending on the flight line coming to the field it’s possible to shoot flighting Rock Doves, these can be very challenging! They flight in to the fields from about 10.00 hrs until 13.00 hrs where they spend the next 2 – 3 hrs wheeling around amongst the sun flower fields, then they fly back to the distant mountains from 13.00 hrs until 16.00 hrs. These birds fly in Partridge like coveys between a foot off the ground to 200 feet up.
A good pair of sun glasses are recommended as these Doves against a pale blue sky can tire the eyes very quickly.

Another option is driven Guinafowl shoots which can be an afternoon well spent. These birds, unlike their English counterparts can be in coveys from 20 up to 300/400 and many eyes make for a very cute flock of birds – they run like an old bird in January! The guide aims to chase them across the open plains using 4×4’s in order to get the coveys to flight twice and break the super coveys up a bit, they will then sit tight and it is possible to walk them up with GSP’s or in a walking gun line. If the guide gets it right, you can hardly load fast enough. A different strategy is for the guide to gather the local farmers, divide in to two teams, one team will stand and one team will walk. The drives will be crops of mealies or maize, as we know it this can be quite an experience!
