Let me repeat…. Lily had a day for the ages yesterday, November 22, 2025. Of the 9 coveys I say she pointed 8 of them. She’s a warrior. This covey of wild bobwhite bobwhite was loafing in a large sandhill plum thicket below a local cell tower when she found them. You can’t see all the birds in the video because they flushed low and behind the thicket but there were probably 20-25 total. It’s not unusual in the early season to see broods of young birds coveyed with their parents. These “big” coveys break up soon after the first cold spell.
