THE RETURN | First bobwhite hunt, pointers are back in action (Georgia)!

This hunt was more than birds in the bag: it was THE RETURN. After two years out of the field due to neck and back surgery, I’m finally back to bobwhite hunting with bird dogs in Georgia. In this special collaboration with Catch & Cook, I took Tyler and Jace Walker on their FIRST bobwhite bird hunt at the South Fork Preserve in Royston, Georgia. What started as a first bobwhite hunt quickly turned into a powerful comeback story. This hunt marked: My first bird hunt after neck and back surgery in 2023 and 2024. KOA the Black Lab’s first bird hunt. KAPTAIN the GSP’s return to the field after 2 years. Quail, rooster and chukar hunting in Georgia. A true mountain bird hunting experience with dogs back in action. This video is about more than hunting – it’s about recovery, perseverance, faith, and getting back to what you love after setbacks.
