Every spring, millions of honey bees are transported across the United States to pollinate the crops that feed our communities, and in this video we’re taking you behind the scenes of blueberry pollination in Michigan. Follow along as we load and transport hundreds of honey bee colonies, navigate long nights, equipment challenges, unpredictable weather, and the realities of commercial beekeeping to get our bees into blueberry fields before bloom begins. From pollination services and hive transportation to bee health, agriculture, farming, crop pollination, and migratory beekeeping, this video shows what it really takes to support blueberry production and help grow the food that ends up in grocery stores across America. Whether you’re interested in beekeeping, farming, pollinators, honey bees, agriculture, blueberry farming, or life on a commercial bee operation, this is a look at the hard work, risk, and responsibility behind modern pollination.
