Flagship model due its Walksnail maiden summer 2023. 2022 Summer build – but delayed on this model as I was using nightly Ardupilot builds, and essentially the cutting-edge of technology to keep up with what I wanted for this model. Had too many problems in too short a time that made me wonder if I would total the model after its first maiden test flight, a good example was my video link went down due to a bug in Ardupilot. If my competent observer (wife!) wasn’t around it would have been a lot of money hitting the deck, but orientation was quickly established for LOS flying. An extra season of stability has since been released compared to 2022, with things much happier, and most importantly, bugs are fixed!
Stalls at 25mph though – eek!
