Today we are taking a look at the Wire Haired Pointing Griffon. I’m no expert on the breed, but I though you guys might like me to give you a brief overview of what I know and then compare and contrast the WPG to the German Shorthaired Pointer.

The Griffon is a very people oriented dog known for its trainability and high degree of cooperation. Third time in the field for Rip Dog with live birds and he is getting better each time. Another beautiful day in Virginia and great weather for an East coast style bobwhite hunt in the pines! Can’t thank Carl @ Sportsman’s Hunting Preserve in Carrsville for letting us come out every weekend and work my dog at his facility. These Wirehaired Pointing Griffons are absolutely amazing dogs!
