New transportation option for deer hunters – NDGNF – 09-07-2021

Chronic wasting disease is a disease of cervids in North Dakota that infects the nervous system. Animals with CWD will appear normal for 18 to 20 months, but the disease is invariably fatal. Because CWD can be artificially spread through improper disposal of high-risk body parts, there are body transport restrictions in areas with known cases of CWD.
