Duck Hunting Colorado – Western Zone Opener!

The opening of Western Duck Hunting is right around the corner here in Colorado. This video is our search from last year. As you will see, we get a mix of 16 ducks and we have a lot of fun doing it. With two new faces and two new dogs in the blind, it was a great way to start the 2023 duck hunting season! With just days before the hunters arrive, Fred takes advantage of windy conditions to get within range of a bull elk. Using a young bull call, he quickly gets a response. Colorado and Chukar Pheasant Hunting January 9, 2022

Here is day 2 of our Colorado Pheasant and Chukar hunt. One of my friends organized a hunt in which 20 roosters and 8 chukars were released. First time trying this for all of us. On the first walk, half the birds are released, and we did not release a single bird.
