Duck Hunting in Flooded Corn Fields (LIMITED SOLD OUT)

This week is part 2 of our 3-part hunting injury scenarios, and we will cover basic splinting after an arrow injury while bowhunting with the Edgerton, WI Fire and Rescue team. We show you tips on how to avoid hunting accidents and recommended life-saving treatments if a hunter is injured. From there, the crew joins Folded Wing Outfitters to hunt muddy ducks in flooded cornfields for low-flying ducks. We film and air new episodes in the same week, 52 weeks a year! Pheasant Hunting with Pointing Dogs

Pheasant hunting with pointing dogs! We took a trip to Fox Ridge Game Farm in Wisconsin to hunt with our buddy Todd and his one year old English Setter “Hank”. Hank is a dog out of Northwoods Bird Dogs, and did a great job pointing roosters on this hunt. Although this was a great hunt, we went into this rooster hunt with the mind set that we were training with this pointing dog.

Wisconsin rooster hunting with pointing dogs is a ton of fun, and true to Wisconsin weather, we ended up hunting in a snowstorm and extreme winds. These conditions made scenting a bit tough for Hank, but he ended up putting the pieces together.

We hope you enjoy this rooster hunt with pointing dogs as much as we did!
