Belgian Malinois vs German Short Haired Pointer

Two very different breeds, same drill — and the goal is not “just throw the ball.”
In this video we work both a Belgian Shepherd and a German Shorthaired Pointer through the same play-based session, using the ball as a structured reinforcer. We build impulse control, cue control, endurance, physical fitness, and clean mechanics under arousal.
We break down our Hunting Game, the Chasing Game, and a few additional exercises that are fun, relationship-driven, and—most importantly—foundational for any working dog, no matter the discipline.
If you’re training a dog for real-world performance, structured play isn’t optional—it’s a skill.
