Join us on a Father & Son Pheasant Hunt with two German Shorthaired Pointers on this cold and snowy day. Enjoy watching these dogs do an amazing job sniffing out the birds and helping us bring home dinner. We Hunt, Clean and Cook these amazing birds and have a lot of fun doing it! We even get a bonus melanistic rooster! Below is a tasty recipe we use for cooking bobwhite game:
Pheasant Poppers are delicious! Here’s the Recipe:
1. Cut the meat into small cubes
2. Cut the bacon strips into thirds
3. Add a jalapeño slice
4. Wrap in all together and hold in place with a toothpick
5. Place on a broiling pan and cook on Hi (Broil) for 3 minutes each side. Total of 6 min.
6. Add small slice of cheese and place back into the oven for about 20 seconds to slightly melt the cheese.
