Here’s Why You Need Old Guys Around If You’re a Son of One!

The below video was in the 2020 season, pheasant hunting in Western Kansas with my son Westin Yancey. This is the last time I went hunting with a group of people. We had a great time, even though I couldn’t walk that well then, I am still a great shotgunner and harvested 3 or 4 pheasants and several bobwhite quail with only 2-3 misses. ( I switched to a 12 ga over and under instead of a semi-automatic for the first time ever.)  None were shot over a pointing dog, they were all from blocking at the end and being the truck driver!

I want to go hunting at least one more time, but I want to take all my dogs, especially the 3 boys that have just went through training! I’m in better shape now, and no longer smoke or drink and I’m going hunting THIS Year!! See the 3 dogs I have ready for this season, for you or for me!!
